On March 3, Xu Yanzeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, as well as Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Drug Administration, visited enterprises including Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Four Pharmaceutical Group in Cangzhou to conduct research and provide guidance on the development of the pharmaceutical industry and drug safety supervision.
At the Biopharmaceutical Industry Park in Bohai New Area, Xu Yanzeng and his delegation visited Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of the group. They listened carefully to a briefing given by Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group, on the group’s and Guangxiang Pharmaceutical’s drug R&D, project construction, and production and operational activities. They also gained a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and demands faced by companies located in the park. Xu Yanzeng fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group’s Guangxiang Pharmaceutical in seizing the opportunities presented by the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, accelerating the development of a specialized API industrial chain, and successfully entering the high-end international market through enhanced quality management.
Xu Yan emphasized the need to fully implement the “one park, one dedicated team” pairing and liaison mechanism, refine the layout of technology collaboration and innovation platforms for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in industrial parks, and deepen support and guidance by strengthening services related to review and approval, job skills training, and laboratory testing capacity building. This will help enterprises accelerate the R&D and industrialization of high-end active pharmaceutical ingredients, high-end formulations, and modern Chinese medicines.
