Before the meeting, Song Youhong, Chairman of the Cangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, along with Vice Chairmen Liu Zhaoyin, Yan Shulin, Hou Siqing, Wang Rong, and Liang Zhengang, and Secretary-General Yao Hongchun, conducted an on-site inspection of Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shisi Pharmaceutical Group, gaining a detailed understanding of the progress in key projects being developed in Huanghua City and the Bohai New Area.

Han Shuqin, Chairperson of Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, provided Song Youhong and his delegation with a detailed introduction to the company’s initiatives and achievements in seizing strategic opportunities presented by the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the economic development of the Bohai Rim area, as well as in accelerating innovation and pursuing high-quality development.

Song Youhong pointed out that the city’s CPPCC system must adopt a political and holistic perspective, strengthen its sense of responsibility and commitment, and consistently pursue both constructive advice and consensus-building efforts. It should align its thinking and actions with the municipal Party committee and government’s work plan of “building the city through projects,” thereby contributing CPPCC strength to the smooth implementation of our city’s key projects. We must leverage the CPPCC’s unique advantages, focus on the central tasks and serve the overall situation, pooling resources, providing support, and generating momentum for advancing key projects. We should set an exemplary standard in optimizing the business environment and serving project development, identify appropriate entry points for our services, conduct thorough research and inspections, and propose practical and effective solutions. In particular, entrepreneur members should uphold integrity while fostering innovation, hone their internal capabilities, take the lead in ensuring stable production and employment, and actively contribute to promoting high-quality economic development. We must deeply study, implement, and carry out the spirit of the National Two Sessions, vigorously launch the campaign “Gathering Strength, Preventing the Epidemic, and Promoting Development,” and ensure high-quality completion of our annual tasks. By offering insightful advice and building consensus, we will help coordinate and advance routine epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, thus effectively translating the Party committee and government’s work plans and socio-economic development goals into concrete results.
